The CEO of Saint Germain Catering, Mina Ebrahimi, founded the company when she was just 26 years old. Now, in two decades, the company has grown immensely to serve the metropolitan Washington D.C. The catering company is also among the entirely women-owned companies in the world. Mina Ebrahimi, as the company owner, has seen the company grow to the capability of organizing a minimum of 200 daily events.
Career before founding Saint Germain Catering
Before founding Saint Germain Catering, she was involved with other management roles in different companies. Mina studied at the George C Marshall High School and the School of Saint Germain Catering until 1991. After her education, she immediately kicked her career with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel as the Guest Services Manager and Assistant Room Service Supervisor. In this role, she helped supervise all guest services and trained her staff for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
Mina Ebrahimi spent a decade as the Vice President in charge of operations at the Saint German Café. The Tysons Galleria-based company provided full bakery services to the residents. She saw the company acquire more customers like the General Growth Properties and Lerner Enterprises.
Mina Ebrahimi was a board member at the University of Pennsylvania in January 2013. Here, she founded many courses like the Jack Ebrahimi Radiology-related department. In 2014, she founded the Mina Ebrahimi Foundation with a mission to mentor and empower women to join entrepreneurship. Currently, she mentors at least five women yearly. She also has experience with Animal Medicine owing to her role as an Acting Board Member of the Veterinary School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Throughout her career, Mina has had successes and received various awards and honors. The Washington Business Journal has recognized her with the prestigious 40 under 40 award. Besides, she has a CEO Brava Award for Women Leaders and the 2014 Enterprising Women of the Year.
The Safety and Food Management certified executive is pursuing landmark projects like the iTunes App for Saint Germain Catering. With her success in previous executive roles and career expertise of over three decades, she remains an icon in the catering industry.
